Open space areas are all those that cannot be assigned to the categories settlement and transportation.
WImportant forms of open space are areas of agriculture as well as woods and forests. Furthermore, expanses of water in the form of running and standing water, as well as mining and dump sites (without their operational buildings) are classified as open space, as are uncultivated areas such as heath, moor, marsh or non-vegetated areas.
