ALKIS

The Official Land Registry Information System ALKIS is a consistent data model for the whole of Germany, which in future will provide the basis for the contents and structure of the real estate cadastre. It combines the automated real estate map (ALK) and the automated land register (ALB) in one system, thereby facilitating the automatic linking of individual plots and building geometries with the attributes of standard land registers (e.g. type of land use). The system was developed by the Working Committee of the Surveying Authorities of the States of the Federal Republic of Germany (AdV). The individual states (Länder) are responsible for implementation. ALKIS is one component of the consistent AAA Data model (AFIS-ALKIS-ATKIS) drawn up by Germany’s land survey agencies.

Currently no ALKIS data is incorporated into the Monitor of Settlement and Open Space Development.
